According to multiple reports, the St. Martin Parish School Board has terminated the contract of Superintendent Lottie Beebe.

According to KATC, the board voted 6-4 Wednesday night to terminate Beebe’s contract, who had been on a month-to-month contact since December.

Beebe, whose contract expired in June, was superintendent since July 2013. She told Teche News in December that the board’s decision not to offer her an extension “was strictly political and not good for the children.”
