25 year old Dylan LeBlanc of Youngsville is in New Iberia Jail being held on numerous charges. LeBlanc was transported to New Iberia yesterday (08-12-2018) from originally being booked into the Lafayette Parish Correctional Center. LeBlanc is being accused of driving while impaired causing the fatal crash that took the life of Abbie Sinitere of Franklin and her 1-year-old son, Maxxon. Sinitere was also 4 months pregnant at the time of the crash.
Also injured in the crash were her stepdaughters, Jaiden, 11, and Marlee, 9, and her son, Bentley. All three are still hospitalized.
Charges for LeBlanc include:
(2) Counts of Vehicular Homicide (Conviction carries a mandatory minimum sentence of 5 years in prison, with maximum sentence of 30 years. The 5 years has to be served without the benefit of parole, probation, or suspension of the sentence. This is per count.)
(4) Counts of Vehicular Negligent Injury (carries a maximum sentence of six months in jail per count)
(1) Count of First-Degree Feticide (conviction carries a maximum sentence of 15 years in prison)
