State Fire Marshal’s Office Investigating Injury Sustained in Morgan City Fire

The Louisiana State Fire Marshal’s Office is currently investigating a Tuesday morning fire that left one person injured.   A spokeswoman said their office was requested early Tuesday afternoon to investigate a residential structure fire which occurred in the 300 block of Lawrence Street. The request by the Morgan City Fire Department was due to an injury associated with the fire. We will continue to monitor this developing story for additional information.
