St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 29 complaints and reports the following arrests:
Eddie Bob Norman, Jr. 41, 108 Taryn Lane, Franklin, LA, was arrested on February 12, 2020, at 1:00 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of operating a motor vehicle not covered by security, expired driver’s license, and improper turn. Norman continues to be incarcerated at the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center.
Gerald Landry, 46, 203 Bracy Street, Jeanerette, LA, was arrested on February 12, 2020, at 11:46 am on a warrant for telephone calls-harassment. Landry was released on a summons to appear on May 18, 2020.
Juvenile male, 15, Jeanerette, LA, was arrested on February 12, 2020, for unauthorized entry of an inhabited dwelling and unauthorized use of a movable. The juvenile was processed and released to a guardian pending juvenile court proceedings.
Victoria Ann Tarleton, 52, 227 Vincent Lane, Bayou Vista, LA, was arrested on February 12, 2020, at 10:54 pm on a two Jefferson Parish warrants for failure to appear on the charges of possession of cocaine and possession of alprazolam. Tarleton is being held for another agency.
Austin Ray, 24, 521 Tiffany Street, Patterson, LA, was arrested on February 12, 2020, at 9:43 pm for possession of schedule I (marijuana) with intent to distribute. No bail has been set.
