The Franklin Police Department responded to 33 complaints over the past weekend and made the following arrests:
Jason Giroir, 40, of Cedar St., Franklin, LA, was arrested on September 21, 2018, at 7:13 PM, on warrants dated September 11, 2018, for reckless operation of a vehicle, criminal damage to property – 7 counts, no proof of insurance, expired license plate, and proper equipment required on vehicle. Giroir was booked, processed, and released to appear in Third Ward City Court.
Alicia Bertrand, 34, of Cremo Ln., Patterson, LA, was arrested on September 22, 2018, at 6:36 PM, on the charges of theft and possession of a legend drug without a prescription. Bertrand was booked, processed, and released on a $1,500.00 bond.
Tyrus Polidore, 28, of Roys Ln., Centerville, LA, was arrested on September 22, 2018, at 10:08 PM, on a warrant dated August 31, 2018 for simple criminal damage to property. Polidore was additionally arrested on three (3) warrants for 16th Judicial District Court for failure to appear on the charges of criminal neglect of family, failure to pay annual registration fee, and disturbing the peace by offensive words. Polidore was booked, processed, and held with no bond set at the time of press release.
