Assumption Parish Makes More Arrest In Operation Summer Heat

NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrests of 4 more suspects charged in Operation “Summer Heat”, brings the number of individuals arrested to 18.
Operation “Summer Heat” is a continuing criminal investigation which targeted illegal drug activity parish wide. The operation has been ongoing for 4 ½ months. Additional suspects are expected to be arrested in coming days.

Four suspects surrendered to the Sheriff’s Office on Monday. They are:

*Darius Denzell Blaine, 28, of 108 Dupaty Lane, Belle Rose, LA, charged with:
*Distribution of Marijuana
He remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing.

*Phyllis Booker, 57, of 124 Millen Drive, Donaldsonville, LA, charged with:
*Possession of Meth-Amphetamine
Her bond is set at $15,000.

*Brandy Lyn Landry, 31, of 109 Louis Lane, Thibodaux, LA, charged with:
*Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Her bond is set at $15,000.

*Demond D. Greene, 34, of 237 Daggs Street, Belle Rose, LA, charged with:
*Distribution of Cocaine
Greene was also booked on outstanding warrants for:
*Simple Criminal Damage to Property
*Domestic Abuse Battery
*Criminal Trespass
Greene has been released on a $25,000 bond.
