Franklin Arrest Report 6-4-2018

The Franklin Police Department responded to 33 complaints over the past weekend and made the following arrests:

Damond Peters, 30, of Talbot St., Franklin, LA, was arrested on June 1, 2018, at 2:55 PM, on the charge of theft of goods. Peters was booked, processed, and held on a $1,500.00 bond.

Gary Edwards, 30, of Second St., Franklin, LA, was arrested on June 1, 2018, at 9:08 PM, on a warrant for 16th Judicial District Court for failure to appear on the charge of operating a vehicle while license is suspended. Edwards was booked, processed, and released on a $5,000.00 bond.

Jamaica Maxie, 33, of Heatherwilder Blvd., Pflugerville, TX, was arrested on June 2, 2018, at 2:39 AM, on a warrant for Third Ward City Court for failure to appear on the charges of safety belt use and tags indicating exemption. Maxie was booked, processed, and released on a $100.00 bond.

LaShonta Lumpkin, 26, of Martin Luther King Blvd., Franklin, LA, was arrested on June 2, 2018, at 6:39 PM, on a warrant for St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office for hit and run. Lumpkin was booked, processed, and released on a $1,000.00 bond.

Ryan Carr, 27, of Collins St., Baldwin, LA, while incarcerated at the Franklin Police Department, was arrested on June 4, 2018, at 6:20 AM, on a warrant for Jeanerette City Court for failure to appear on the charges of speeding and no driver’s license. Carr was booked, processed, and held on a $383.50 bond.
