As the nation comes together for the National Day of Prayer on Thursday; area ministers, public officials and citizens will also gather across St. Mary Parish to pray for our nation and community.
The Town of Berwick will host their annual observance at 12:10 pm at the Lighthouse Park on the Berwick Riverfront. You may watch the observance in Berwick live on the KQKI Facebook page beginning at 12:10 pm. In Morgan City, a National Day of Prayer Observance will be held at noon on the front lawn of City Hall on the corner of 1st and Everette Streets in Downtown Morgan City. The Berwick and Morgan City events are held in conjunction with the East St. Mary Ministerial Alliance.
And finally, the Town of Baldwin and City of Franklin will join forces to pray at 12:30 pm on the front lawn of Franklin City Hall at 300 Iberia Street in Franklin.
