Breaux Bridge Woman Arrested On Multiple Drug Charges

(St. Martinville, LA)-On Wednesday, March 21, 2018, following complaints of illegal drug activity, Narcotics Agents with the St. Martin Parish Sheriff’s Office conducted a undercover narcotics operation in the Breaux Bridge area of St. Martin Parish whereby an arrangement was made to purchase marijuana from a suspected drug dealer. Following the purchase of the marijuana at a residence in the 1000 block of Huntington Place Drive, the suspected dealer was placed under arrest without incident. Following the arrest, Agents were notified by the suspect that she was in possession of additional marijuana. In addition, a two year old child was also present in the home during the incident.

Narcotics Agents recovered a total of approximately 111 grams (1/4 pound) of high-grade marijuana, digital scales, packaging materials, and U.S. currency.  The estimated street value of the high grade marijuana was valued at approximately $5,000.00. Quinterria Williams, 23, of Breaux Bridge, LA.  was booked into the St. Martin Parish Correctional Center on the below charges:

(1)  Possession with Intent to Distribute Schedule I CDS (Marijuana)

Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Transactions involving proceeds from drug offenses

Unlawful Posting of Criminal Activity for Notoriety

Illegal Use of CDS in the presence of a minor

Criminal Conspiracy
