Man Steals Key from Coworker & Burglarizes Vehicle In Thibodaux

Thibodaux Chief of Police Bryan Zeringue announced the arrest of 28 year old Calvin Price Jr. for Simple Burglary.

On July 24th, 2017, during the day time working hours, Calvin Price Jr. took the victim’s vehicle key off of the victim’s set of keys that were left in the manager’s office of their place of employment in the 800 Block of North Canal Boulevard.

Price then uses the key to burglarize the victim’s vehicle, which was parked outside of the building; he made off with $40. The victim noticed that the key was off of the key ring at the end of the work day and decided to contact the Police.

After reviewing the video footage, Price was seen exiting the rear of the building and burglarizing the vehicle. A warrant was obtained for the arrest of Calvin Price Jr.

On Thursday, March 8th, 2018, at approximately 5:58 p.m., a black Chevrolet Camaro that Price was riding in was stopped for traffic violations. Price was placed under arrest for his warrant.

Calvin Price Jr. was released from the Lafourche Parish Detention Center at 8:46 p.m. the same day after posting his $5,000 bond.
