City of Franklin hosting The Inaugural Artists & Appetizers

FRANKLIN, La.—Instead of the Art Walk, the City of Franklin will host its inaugural Artists and Appetizers Saturday, August 11, 2018, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the City Park Recreation Center. Attendees and artists are asked to wear white and/or black. Refreshments will be served.

The types of art that will be accepted into Artists and Appetizers include: drawing, basketry, painting, pottery, recycled art, quilts, handmade accessories, mixed media, photography, sculpture, fiber arts, wood art, stained glass and published books of literature and poetry, including children’s books. All art, literature and poetry displayed must be the original work of the artist or author.
