AMBER ALERT CANCELLED for 2 month old girl, child found safe

Original Story: New Iberia – The Louisiana State Police has activated the Louisiana AMBER Alert plan on behalf of the Iberia Parish Sheriff’s Office for 2-month-old, Amari Daniels, who is believed to have been abducted. Amari Daniels was last seen in the 900 block of Mississippi Street in New Iberia, Iberia Parish, and was abducted around 6:15 p.m. by Akeam Masheeq Daniels who was driving a white 1979 two-door Cadillac. The vehicle was last seen traveling east on Mississippi Street.

Akeam Masheeq Daniels is a suspect and is wanted for questioning for a fatal shooting which occurred at the time of the abduction. Akeam Masheeq Daniels is a 26-year-old black male with black hair and brown eyes. Daniels is approximately 5’10” tall and weighs about 155 pounds. Daniels is believed to be driving a white 1979 two-door Cadillac bearing Louisiana license plate 698BJX. The vehicle has a black top.

The vehicle may also be occupied by Isaiah Johnson, Jr., a.k.a. Isaiah Francisco and Avan Francisco a.k.a. Avan Cole. Isaiah Johnson, Jr., a.k.a. Isaiah Francisco is a 25-year-old black male with black hair and brown eyes. He is approximately 5’9” tall and weighs about 170 pounds. Avan Francisco a.k.a. Avan Cole is a 31-year-old black male with black hair and brown eyes. He is approximately 5’7” and weighs about 145 pounds.

Akeam Masheeq Daniels is believed to be armed and dangerous. Extreme caution should be used. The public is asked not to approach Daniels or the vehicle.

Amari Daniels is believed to be in imminent danger and is described as a 2-month-old black female infant with black hair and brown eyes. She is approximately 24” tall and weighs about 10 to 15 pounds.
