Napoleonville Man Along With 2 Others Arrested In Connection With Southeastern University Shooting

According to Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff Daiel Edwards, 3 people has been arrested in connection with the shooting that happened on campus at Southeastern Louisiana University on Friday February 23, 2018.

18 year old Herbert J Joseph Jr of Napoleonville, La. was charged with carrying a firearm on school property and 2 counts of attempted 2nd degree murder. His bond is set at $125,000.

19 year old Jacoby G Senegal of Abbeville, La. was charged with carrying a firearm on school property, 2 counts of attempted 2nd degree murder, and possession of a stolen firearm. His bond is set at $225,000.

19 year old Jabbar Singleton of New Orleans, La. was charged with Illegal discharge of a firearm and carrying a firearm on school property. His bond was set at $85,000.

The suspects were taken into custody by the University Police Department. The Hammond Police Department and Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Department are assisting with the ongoing investigation.

The two individuals who recieved treatment at a nearby hospital for non-life threatening gunshot wounds have been confirmed to be athletes of the University.
