Morgan City Arrest Report 2-6-2018

Chief James F. Blair reports that over the last 24-hour reporting period the Morgan City Police Department responded to 56 calls for service. The following persons were arrested as a result beginning on 02/05/2018:


Quincy Johnson 02062018

Quincy J. Johnson, 24 years of age, address: South Railroad Morgan City, La., arrested on 02/05/2018 @ 8:04 a.m.

Charges: Simple Burglary

Patrol officers responded to the area of South Railroad Ave. in regards to a residential burglary. According to reports, officers spoke with the victim who positively identified Quincy J. Johnson as the subject who had gained entry into their residence. Johnson was located in the area. Johnson was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.


Keishia Howard 02062018

Keishia L. Howard, 42 years of age, address: Mount St. Morgan City, La. arrested on 02/05/2018 @ 10:56 a.m.

Charges: Warrant: Accessory After the Fact to Simple Burglary
Warrant: Obstruction of Justice
Warrant: F.T.A. for Trial on 08/14/2008 (2 counts)

Investigators with the Morgan City Police Department Detectives Division continued an investigation initiated by patrol officers in which Shawn Harding was arrested for Simple Burglary. According to reports, Keishia L. Howard was contacted by Harding to move and conceal items from other burglaries that had been reported. A search warrant was conducted on Howard’s residence in which multiple items that were reported stolen. Evidence was uncovered linking Howard to attempting to conceal the items. Warrants were prepared for her arrest. Howard was also found to hold active arrest warrants held by the 16th Judicial Court. Howard was booked into the Morgan City Jail and incarcerated. The investigation is ongoing.


Tremayne Skinner 02062018

Tremayne Skinner, 41 years of age, address: Railroad Ave. Morgan City, La., arrested on 02/05/2018 @ 2:53 p.m.

Charges: Warrant: Failure to Register as a Sex Offender
Warrant: Probation and Parole Violation

Tremayne Skinner was located and arrested in the area of Railroad Ave. on active arrest warrants held by the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office and Louisiana Probation and Parole. Skinner was transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.


Rebecca Matherly 02062018

Rebecca F. Matherly, 35 years of age, address: Hwy 182 Morgan City, La., arrested on 02/05/2018 @ 3:14 p.m.

Charges: Warrant: Possession of SCH II CDS (Methamphetamine)
Warrant: Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Rebecca F. Matherly was located and arrested at the Harding County Detention Center on active arrest warrants held by the Morgan City Police. The warrants stem from two separate investigations conducted by the Morgan City Police Department Narcotics and Patrol Divisions in November of 2015 and March of 2016 when Matherly was found to be in possession of suspected Methamphetamine on the 2016 incident and Drug Paraphernalia in 2015. The investigation in both incidents continued and warrants were prepared for Matherly’s arrest. Matherly was transported to the Morgan City Jail where she was booked and incarcerated.


Danny M. Fulks, 32 years of age, address: Parish Rd. Franklin, La., arrested on 02/06/2018 @ 12:10 a.m.

Charges: Warrant: F.T.A. to Pay Fine on 09/08/2015
Warrant: F.T.A. to Pay Fine on 10/13/2015 (2 counts)
Warrant: F.T.A. to Pay Fine on 11/10/2015

Danny M. Fulks was located and arrested in the area of LA 182 on active arrest warrants held by the 6th Ward Morgan City Court. Fulks was transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.


Jolene M. Hebert, 39 years of age, address: LA 70 Morgan City, La., arrested on 02/06/2018 @ 1:18 a.m.

Charges: Driving while Intoxicated 1st Offense
Disregard of Traffic Controls

Patrol officers responded to a local business in the area of LA 182 in regards to an intoxicated subject. The subject left prior to officer arrival in a vehicle. A description was obtained and the vehicle was located in the area a short time later. According to reports, the vehicle disregarded a red light in the area of LA 182. A stop was initiated and Jolene M. Hebert was identified as the operator of the vehicle. Hebert was found to be in an intoxicated state. Hebert performed poorly on Standardized Field Sobriety Test. Hebert was arrested and transported to the Morgan City  Jail for Chemical Testing which she submitted to registering .228g% blood alcohol content. Hebert was booked into the Morgan City Jail and incarcerated.


John C. Knowles, 24 years of age, address: Hwy 41 Repton, AL., arrested on 02/06/2018 @ 1:32 a.m.

Charges: Driving while Intoxicated 1st Offense
Reckless Operation of a Motor Vehicle

Patrol officers observed a vehicle being operated in the area of Seventh St. in a reckless manner. A stop was initiated and John C. Knowles was identified as the operator of the vehicle. According to reports, Knowles was found to be in an intoxicated state. Knowles performed poorly on Standardized Field Sobriety Test. Knowles was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail for Chemical Testing which he refused. Knowles was booked into the Morgan City Jail and incarcerated.
