Assumption Parish Arrest a Pierre Part Man on Drug Charges and a Stolen Firearms

PIERRE PART – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Bryston James Perrier, 17, of 137 Riverbend Street, Pierre Part, LA, on charges related to a traffic stop on Saturday.
A uniformed patrol deputy observed a vehicle commit a traffic violation on LA 308 South at approximately 12 noon.
The deputy executed a stop of the vehicle and proceeded to interview the driver who was identified as Bryston James Perrier.
As a result of that interview and personal observations of the suspect and his surroundings, a search of both the suspect and the vehicle yielded a quantity of marijuana / synthetic cannabinoids, paraphernalia and three firearms, one of which was reported as having been stolen.

Perrier was placed under arrest, transported to the Assumption Parish Detention Center and booked on charges of:
*Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
*Possession of Marijuana / Synthetic Cannabinoids
*Illegal Possession of a Stolen Firearm
At the time of Saturday’s arrest, Perrier was out of jail on bond for unrelated felony charges.
Perrier was incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
