Assumption Parish Arrest A Napoleonvill Man For Aggravated Battery with a Dangerous Weapon

SUBJECT: AGGRAVATED BATTERY WITH A DANGEROUS WEAPON
CLIFTON BREAUX

NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Clifton Breaux, 55, of 133 Pecan Street, Napoleonville, LA, accused of cutting another man with a knife.
Sheriff’s deputies responded to a call of a disturbance at 133 Pecan Street around 8:15 p.m. Christmas night.
Deputies interviewed witnesses and the alleged victim. Based on those interviews, deputies applied for and received an arrest warrant charging Breaux with aggravated battery with a dangerous weapon.
Breaux was arrested transported to the Assumption Parish Detention Center and booked on charges of:
*Aggravated Battery with a Dangerous Weapon (1 Count)
Additionally, Breaux was booked on an outstanding warrant for Failure to Appear relative to numerous traffic charges.
Breaux remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
The victim received wounds to a hand and fingers and was to seek treatment.
