Christmas Parade set for Sunday, December 10, 2017

The parade begins at 1:00 P.M. starting upper Pierre Part at highway 70. The line up will begin at 11:00 A.M. for floats and 12:00 noon for the go-carts, dirt bikes, three/four wheelers and Golf carts (all ATV’s).  Line-up begins rolling at 12:45 P.M. to start closing in spaces in the line up.

Business floats or vehicles advertising business – $75.00

Non-Profit Organization floats – No charge

Public Officials – No Charge

Beauty Queens – No Charge

Eighteen-wheelers, show Trucks and Antique Cars – $25.00

Horse riders are welcomed to participate in the parade at no charge.

Go-carts, dirt bikes, three/four wheelers, Golf carts — $15.00 per (ATV) (not per rider) payable the day of the parade. Entry forms may be picked up in advance at the following locations starting November 20, 2017 at: Pierre Part Store, Templet’s Grocery and Stazione. Forms will be available the day of the parade. Line up will be at the Lone Oak Manufacturing Co. (Sewing Factory), formally Blanchard’s IGA and MUST disband and be picked up by parents at Pierre Part Store.  (NO EXCEPTIONS).

Tree Lighting Ceremony and Grand Marshal announcement

Saturday, December 9, 2017 in front of the St. Joseph the Worker Church Hall, commencing immediately following the 4:30 p.m. mass, at St. Joseph Church, approximately 5:15 o’clock p.m. The public is invited to attend.

Business Group Christmas social honoring the 2017 Grand Marshal will be held at the St. Joseph the Worker Church Hall immediately following the Tree Lighting Ceremony.

Anyone or any organization that wants to participate in the Pierre Part/Belle River Business Group Christmas Events is welcomed to do so. Please contact Joann Leal at 985-369-5021 by December 4, 2017.
