She was a parishioner of Church of the Assumption in Franklin and was the last surviving charter member of the Catholic Daughters, Court Assumption. She passed away at the age of 89 in the evening hours of Thursday, October 12, 2017, at Landmark of Acadiana in St. Martinville, eight days shy of her 90th birthday. Those she leaves to cherish her memory include her sister, Margaret G. Capritto; one sister-in-law, Clara Mae Graffeo Clifton; as well as by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
