St. Mary Arrest Report 10-12-2017

St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert advises that over the 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 40 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

UNIFORMED PATROL SECTION

Georgette Bush, 30, 217 Chauvin Drive, Franklin, LA was arrested on October 11, 2017 at 9:15 am on a warrant for probation violation. A deputy located Bush at a business on Southeast Boulevard in Bayou Vista on the warrant and transported her to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. No bail is set.

Serenity Valentine, 27, 521 Tiffany Street, Patterson, LA was arrested on October 11, 2017 at 11:10 am on a warrant for contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile. The warrant stems from an investigation into a report of a juvenile that left home. The deputy collected evidence that Valentine transported a juvenile to her residence without the permission of the juvenile’s guardians. The deputy located Valentine in Patterson on the warrant and transported her to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. Valentine was released on a $1,000 bond.

Peggy Sons, 24, 1812 N Street, Patterson, LA was arrested on October 11, 2017 at 1:25 pm for theft of goods. A deputy responded to a report of shoplifting at a store in Bayou Vista. The deputy found evidence that Sons concealed several items in a bag and attempted to leave the store without paying for the goods. Sons was released on a summons to appear in court on January 3, 2018.

Bryce Tabor, 22, 105 Hendricks Street, Patterson, LA was arrested on October 11, 2017 at 7:46 pm for operating a vehicle with a suspended driver’s license and speeding. A deputy monitoring traffic on US Highway 90 in Bayou Vista observed a vehicle traveling 61 miles per hour in a posted 45 miles per hour speed zone. The deputy conducted a traffic stop, spoke with the driver, Tabor, and found that his driver’s license was suspended. Tabor was released on a summons to appear in court on January 3, 2018.

Alan Granger, 33, 3238 Highway 316 Gray, LA was arrested on October 11, 2017 at 8:16 pm for speeding, proper equipment required, and operating a vehicle with a suspended driver’s license. A deputy monitoring traffic on US Highway 90 in Bayou Vista observed a vehicle traveling 59 miles per hour in a posted 45 miles per hour speed zone with only one working headlight. The deputy conducted a traffic stop, spoke with the driver, Granger, and found that his driver’s license was suspended. Granger was released on a summons to appear in court on January 3, 2018.

Terrance Washington, 43, 312 Brandywine Boulevard, Thibodaux, LA was arrested on October 11, 2017 at 10:23 pm for unauthorized use of an inhabited dwelling and disturbing the peace (intoxication). A deputy responded to a call for service about a subject causing a disturbance at a residence on Chitimacha Trail in Baldwin. The deputy spoke with the subjects involved, including Washington, and found that he entered the residence with permission. Washington was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. No bail is set.

Raven Clements, 33, 19012 Highway 182 West, Jeanerette, LA was arrested on October 12, 2017 for domestic abuse battery and criminal damage to property. A deputy responded to a call for service in reference to a disturbance at a residence in the Jeanerette area. The deputy found evidence that Clements grabbed a male victim and struck a vehicle causing damage to it. Clements was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. She was released on a $3,000 bond.

 

NARCOTICS SECTION

Brennan Giandelone, 18, 175 Mercury Road, Bayou Vista, LA was arrested on October 11, 2017 at 5:26 pm on a warrant for contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile. The warrant was issued after a patrol deputy encountered  Giandelone and a juvenile walking after curfew on Clarke Road in Bayou Vista.  The deputy located Giandelone in Bayou Vista on the warrant and transported him to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. Giandelone was released on a $1,000 bond.

Rodessa Savoie, 43, 745 Prairie Road North, Franklin, LA was arrested on October 11, 2017 at 6:32 pm for stop sign violation and possession of Schedule I (marijuana). Narcotics detectives patrolling the Centerville area observed a vehicle fail to stop at a stop sign on BDC Lane. Detectives conducted a traffic stop and observed the driver place an item in the console of the pick-up truck. While speaking with the driver, Savoie, detectives learned that the item was marijuana and retrieved the illegal substance. Savoie was released on a summons to appear in court on January 3, 2017.

Frieda Hartfield, 59, 106 Chris Lane Lot #3, Centerville, LA was arrested on October 11, 2017 at 7:15 pm for the following offenses:

  • Distribution of marijuana
  • Possession of Schedule I (marijuana)
  • Possession of drug paraphernalia
  • Transactions involving proceeds from illegal drug sales

Narcotics detectives investigating possible illegal drug activity at Hartfield’s residence received consent to search the location and found over a pound of marijuana, a scale, marijuana grinder, and just over $140 in cash suspected of being derived from the illegal sale of marijuana. Hartfield was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. No bail is set.
