(Update: Arrest Made) ID Sought in Four Corners Burglary

The St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office captured a man that was being sought in connection with three burglaries of the same location on LA Highway 318 in Four Corners.  Joseph Robertson, 53, of Four Corners was arrested Monday night on warrants that stemmed from an investigation where he was positively identified in video surveillance allegedly taking items from a building.  During his arrest, narcotics detectives observed a piece of crack cocaine and a pipe used to smoke crack cocaine in Robertson’s bedroom. Detectives also recovered some stolen items from a vehicle at Robertson’s residence. Robertson was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. No bail is set.

Robertson was incarcerated on the following charges:

  • Possession of Schedule II (crack cocaine)
  • Possession of drug paraphernalia
  • 3 warrants for simple burglary
