Woman accused of stealing money from Houma business

Sheriff Jerry Larpenter said that on August 8, 2017, Tuesday evening, Terrebonne Parish detectives arrested a female suspect for theft of over $20,000.00.

Hernandez was working as the office manager at a locally owned business, Brooke’s Sno-World, 6493 Wain St. Houma, La. Hernandez is accused of stealing money from the company along with forging checks and using the company’s credit cards to pay her own personal bills from Jan. 2017 until June 2017.

On Tuesday evening, 8/8/17, Courtney Childress Hernandez, w/f, age 36, reported to the Terrebonne Parish Criminal Justice Complex and surrendered. She remains in jail on a $75,000.00 bond.
