Designed to find the most promising country music talent in the United States for the past thirty-five years, the Country Showdown gives aspiring artists a chance to launch their professional careers. Thousands of performers compete annually for the Country Showdown title.

Each spring hometown talent contests sponsored by over five hundred local radio stations across the country pave the road to stardom. The regional winners get a chance to compete in the semifinals. New to the Country Showdown for season 36 is artist mentoring and development with access to insider industry tips, networking, webinars, live events, a private Facebook group, and more! All of this is to help pave the road of opportunity for the artists.

“We consider the Country Showdown one of the most anticipated events in country music each year,” said KQKI Station Manager Bryan Protich. “It is an exciting community event that provides aspiring artists an opportunity for local, regional, and national exposure while promoting a greater appreciation of country music. We are pleased and proud to join The Berwick Lighthouse festival in hosting one of the 36th Annual Country Showdown Regionals.”
