BAYOU VISTA, La – (Audio Included) What a difference a day can make. Monday morning, McDonald’s in Bayou Vista looked quite normal until demolition crews began work to tear down the restaurant. By the end of the day, the building was completely demolished and all that remained was rubble.
Local McDonald’s franchisee Terry Wilburn told KQKI News that a newly designed, state-of-the-art McDonald’s restaurant will replace the now demolished building.
He said they expect to open the new store in late October which will feature kiosk ordering equipment, table service, Mobile ordering capabilities, dual drive thru lanes and a new playland for their younger customers.
