Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office searching for suspects involved in armed robbery in Schriever

The Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office asking for assistance in locating suspects involved in the armed robbery of a Dollar General Store in Schriever.

The Sheriff’s Office said that the suspects had already fled the scene when they arrived at the Dollar General in Schriever.  Detectives received information that the store had closed and the employees were in the process of locking the front door when the two suspects approached them. One of the suspects had a silver in color handgun and the second suspect was carrying a black backpack. The male suspect with the gun pointed it at the employees and forced them to open the door and reenter the store. The armed suspect threatened to shoot the employees if they did not give them money. The suspects led the employees through the store to the cash register. One of the employee gave the suspects an undetermined amount of cash. The money was placed in the black back pack carried by the second suspect.

​Both suspects were dressed in all black with their faces covered. The armed suspect was a tall black male and the suspect carrying the back pack is shorter and believed to be a black female.
