St. Mary Arrest Report 4-19-2017

St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 43 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Carey Jackson, Jr., 19, 523 Big Four Corners Road, Jeanerette, LA was arrested on April 18, 2017 at 8:54 am for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. While en route to a disturbance at a residence in Four Corners, a deputy received additional information that a subject left in a vehicle that did not belong to them. The deputy located the subject in the vehicle, identified him as Jackson, and found that he had taken the truck without the permission of the vehicle’s owner. Jackson was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. No bail is set.

Jessica Bush, 31, 2029 Pinecrust Boulevard, Covington, LA was arrested on April 18, 2017 at 12:21 pm for domestic abuse battery (child endangerment law). A deputy responded to a location on Southeast Boulevard in Bayou Vista after receiving a report of a disturbance in progress. During the investigation, the deputy collected evidence that Bush grabbed a toddler aged female by the arm causing redness and bruising. The deputy also observed significant bruising on other areas of the child’s body. The deputy transported Bush to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. No bail is set.

 Stacy Burnett, 33, 115 Cammie Lane, Cypriot Point, LA was arrested on April 18, 2017 at 4:32 pm for simple assault. A deputy was dispatched to a report of a disturbance at a residence in Cypremort Point and found that Burnett made verbal threats on a male victim’s life to the victim. Burnett was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. No bail is set.

Brian Jolivette, 52, 830 ½ Canal Street Apt. A3, Jeanerette, LA was arrested on April 18, 2017 at 5:45 pm on 2 warrants for failure to appear on the charges of criminal neglect of family. While investigating a separate complaint, a deputy encountered Jolivette on Cypriot Road and located the active warrants for his arrest. Jolivette was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. Bail is set at $28,472.65.

April Lewis, 26, 1414 Cypremort Road, Jeanerette, LA was arrested on April 18, 2017 at 5:41 pm on a warrant for simple battery. While investigating a separate complaint, a deputy encountered Lewis on Cypremort Road and located the active warrant for her arrest. The warrant was issued following an investigation into a report of a battery that occurred on Cypremort Road. The responding deputy collected evidence that Lewis struck a female victim in the face during an argument. Lewis was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. Bail is set at $2,500.

Jonathan W. Ashley, 28, 5711 Highway 182, Franklin, LA was arrested on April 18, 2017 at 6:29 pm for theft of goods and possession of drug paraphernalia. A deputy received a complaint of shoplifting at a store in Bayou Vista. The deputy spoke with store personnel and collected evidence that Ashley returned an item that he stole from the store for a refund. Following Ashley’s arrest, the deputy located a pipe on his person suspected of being used to smoke marijuana. Ashley was released on a summons to appear in court on July 10, 2017.

Tyrone Weber, 33, 115 Kerry Lane, Charenton, LA was arrested on April 18, 2017 at 7:08 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of criminal neglect of family. A deputy patrolling the Charenton area located Weber in a vehicle on Martin Luther King Road. Weber was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. Bail is set at $6,289.31.

Antoine Booker, 32, 1301 Highway 83, Franklin, LA was arrested on April 18, 2017 at 8:22 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of criminal neglect of family. A deputy located Booker at the ST. Mary Parish Courthouse in Franklin on the warrant. Booker was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. Bail is set at $2,122.18.

Antoine Jones, 27, 136 Georgetown Road, Franklin, LA was arrested on April 18, 2017 at 10:21 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of possession of synthetic cannabinoids and operating a vehicle without a driver’s license. Jones was also charged on another warrant for failure to appear careless operation of a motor vehicle and operating a vehicle without a driver’s license. A deputy located Jones at the St. Mary Parish Courthouse in Franklin on the warrant. Jones was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. Bail is set at $1,000.

Frederick J. Hryniewick, 43, 330 Tulsa Avenue, Houma, LA was arrested on April 19, 2017 at 3:03 am for operating a vehicle while intoxicated, traveling the wrong way on a one-way roadway, and possession of (open) alcoholic beverages in motor vehicles. A deputy on US Highway 90 in Bayou Vista observed a vehicle traveling eastbound in the westbound lanes and conducted a traffic stop. While speaking with the driver, identified as Hryniewick, the deputy observed several signs of impairment including the smell of an alcoholic beverage on Hryniewick’s breath and body. Hryniewick admitted to the deputy that he had taken prescription medications and had been drinking. The deputy administered a standardized field sobriety test. Hryniewick conducted the sobriety test poorly. Following the investigation, he was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. Bail is set at $2,750.
