55th Annual Louisiana City Marshals and City Constables Association Training Conference to Be Held in Franklin

FRANKLIN, La.—The City of Franklin will host the 55th Annual Louisiana City Marshals and City Constables Training Conference April 27-30, 2017.

The conference will feature educational sessions and business meetings.  After the sessions and meetings, attendees will be able to relax and enjoy Franklin at a variety of events that have been planned by organizers.

One event they will attend is “An Evening on the Bayou,” which takes place Friday, April 28 at The Lamp Post.  Attendees will begin their trip from the conference hotel at approximately 5 p.m.  The marshals and constables will be downtown on Main Street for several hours, and Marshal McCoy is asking that the merchants stay open, if possible, until 8 p.m. or as late as they can.
