The Franklin Police Department responded to 33 complaints over the past holiday weekend and made the following arrests:
David Miller, Jr., 28, of Canal St., Franklin, LA, was arrested on November 28, 2019, at 8:55 PM, on a warrant dated August 26, 2019, for carrying of a firearm by a convicted felon and illegal possession of stolen firearm, and was additionally arrested on the charge of theft by shoplifting. Miller was booked, processed, and released on an $8,000.00 bond.
Jeremy Housley, 37, of Lacey Ln., Franklin, LA, was arrested on November 28, 2019, at 9:50 PM, on the charges of theft and possession of drug paraphernalia. Housley was additionally arrested on a warrant for Third Ward City Court for failure to appear on the charges of stop signs, expired motor vehicle inspection sticker, and no driver’s license on person and a warrant for 16th Judicial District Court for failure to appear on the charges of possession of methamphetamine, obstruction of justice by tampering with evidence, and possession of marijuana. Housley was booked, processed, and transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center.
