Chitimacha Police Report 1-7-2019

Chitimacha Police Chief Hal Hutchinson reports the following arrests:

On 1-4-19, George Oubre, 51, Chitimacha Trail, Charenton, was arrested for possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. He remained incarcerated at the parish jail. On 1-23-18, during the course of a narcotics investigation, a search warrant was executed at a residence located on Chitimacha Trail. During the execution of the search warrant, methamphetamine, tramadol, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia were located within the home. It was learned that Oubre was involved and had already left the residence. A warrant was issued for Oubre. St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office arrested Oubre on the Chitimacha Tribal Police Department warrant, along with other charges.

On 1-5-19, Trevor Alfano, 20, Walnut Street, Franklin, was arrested for criminal trespass and released on a summons. Officers responded to a Tribal business in reference to an underage person. During the investigation, it was learned that Alfano was involved and was arrested.
